Tecnocable Machinery · Grupo Zamec · Since 1914

Wire and cable machinery, designed and manufactured in Spain.

Rod breakdown, wire drawing, stranding and extrusion lines developed by our own engineering team and adapted to the production requirements of each plant.

  • In-house engineering: from rod to take-up.
  • Design, manufacturing and technical service in Spain.
  • Every line is configured around the plant's real process.

An engineer replies, not an automated form.

Technical authority

More than a century building machinery for electrical conductors.

Fisam was founded in Barcelona in 1914 to develop wire drawing machinery and registered some of the first patents in the sector in Spain.

Since 1978, Tecnocable has specialised in extrusion and stranding. Today, together with Zamec, they form a single industrial project that combines the experience of all three companies.

Fisam

Wire drawing machinery and the first patents in the sector in Spain.

Tecnocable

Specialisation in extrusion and conductor stranding.

Three companies, one engineering team: Fisam, Tecnocable and Zamec.

Efficiency is not promised in a catalogue. It is designed into the line.

The complete line

From rod to take-up, with a single technical partner.

We develop the five blocks of the line with the same engineering team, so the configuration is decided once and for the whole line.

  1. Rod breakdown

Controlled reduction of copper and aluminium rod.

  2. Wire drawing

    Multi-wire lines with in-line annealing.

  3. Stranding

Equipment for bunching and stranding conductors.

  4. Extrusion

Custom lines for insulation and sheathing, with in-house heads.

  5. Take-up and auxiliary equipment

Take-ups, pay-offs, accumulators, talc applicators and capstans.

Configuration and specifications subject to technical validation for each project.

Industrial efficiency

Efficiency is designed into the line, not into the catalogue.

Each line is configured from the product, materials and production targets.

This approach makes it possible to work on the points that most affect performance: process stability, energy consumption, changeover times and ease of maintenance.

How we approach it

Results depend on each configuration and are analysed with the customer before the project.

The same team that designs the line manufactures it and commissions it.
Manufacturing in Spain

Design, manufacturing and service under one roof.

A single technical point of contact, from the first drawing to commissioning and maintenance.

What this means
  • In-house engineering: complete technical development at our facilities.
  • Manufacturing in Spain.
  • Critical spare parts made within Grupo Zamec.
  • Direct manufacturer service: installation, training, assistance and repair.

A single technical point of contact, from design to commissioning.

Before you talk to us.

What kind of machinery do you manufacture?

Machinery for electrical conductors: rod breakdown, wire drawing, stranding, extrusion and the line's auxiliary equipment. From rod to take-up.

Where are the machines designed and manufactured?

In Spain. In-house engineering, manufacturing and technical service, with critical spare parts made within Grupo Zamec.

Do you work with standard or custom configurations?

Every line is configured from the plant's product, materials and production targets. Specifications are technically validated before the project.

Can you replace only part of an existing line?

Yes. We work both on complete lines and on specific equipment to be integrated into an installation already in operation.

What happens after I submit the form?

An engineer reviews your enquiry and proposes a technical conversation about the process or line you are interested in. No catalogue, no sales pitch.

Let's talk about your process
